So we have all seen the marketing of dating sites that promise that the love of your life can be found online . This is my story. It is certainly not sad but a cautionary and still optimistic tale . 
Have I found love on the Internet? The answer is not yet but I am still hopeful.  Who can not be attracted by the appeal of so many beautiful people on these sites and their apparent search for only true love ❤️. It is unfortunate that there are people both male and female who are not genuine on these sites . Have I been lied to and deceived. Yes I have . Has this put me off in the search for a true and lasting relationship? Absolutely not ! Because i still believe in true love . I am not a young man by any means , I am 59 and you might call me an old fool . So why do I keep putting myself through the trials and tribulations of online dating?  For the simple reason that the next communication I have might lead me to meeting the one special lady . I want to wake up and see this person next to me who I love unconditionally . Of course we are not perfect and I certainly am not but there is a saying that our imperfections make us perfect for each other . I want to hold hands , kiss , visit places and spend the rest of my life with my love . We still need to trust people, no matter if we have been hurt before. So my advice to anyone is take the plunge and write that letter . Who knows where it might lead . Maybe I will write to you .  Yes we all come from different countries but language and distance is no barrier to love. Good luck everyone 😍
