Love is not lust!

A beautiful face, a beautiful body, you look at it and feel that you are looking at it in love. But why are you looking at it? Do you want to get something out of it? Then it is lust and not love. Do you want to take advantage of it? Then it is lust and not love. Then actually, you think about how to use that body, how to take possession of it, how to make that body a tool for your own pleasure.Lust means:How to use someone for your own pleasure. Love means :another's pleasure is preferable. In fact, lust is how you get something from him/her, and love is how you give something to him/her... these two are exactly the opposite. If you see a beautiful face and feel love for that face, your immediate feeling in your consciousness will be what to do to please this face, how to please  this woman. Here you are not important, the other is important. In love, the other is important; In lust, you are important. In "lust" you think of making another the means of your pleasure; In "love" you think about how to become a tool yourself for another's pleasureIn lust, you sacrifice another; In love, you sacrifice yourself.Love means how to give ;Lust means  how to get

Love is a surrender;Lust is an invasion..Whenever you look at something lovingly, that "thing" becomes a person. And the opposite is also true. Whenever you look at someone with lustful eyes, that person becomes an object. That is why sensual eyes are repulsive and stinging. Because no one wants to become an object. When you look at a woman with lustful eyes, she will feel offended. What do you actually do?You change a person, a living person, into a dead subject. You figure out how to "use" and that person is killed. That is why sensual eyes are repulsive and ugly. When you look at someone with love, the other becomes exalted. She becomes unique. Suddenly she becomes a person. A person cannot be replaced by another, but objects can be replaced.A "thing" means something that can be replaced; But a "person" means something that cannot be replaced, it is not possible that you can replace her with someone else.A person is unique and unique it. not like that...And this oneness, this personhood, happens through love.If there is a romantic relationship, everything becomes a person. If there is a lustful relationship , then the person becomes an object. And this is one of the most inhumane things a human can do: turning a person into an object. Many people think they know what love is, but they don't. Many trappists advise couples to have more sex for more intimacy. But if there is no love, sex is just physical gymnastics. When there is no love, you have sex but you are still thirsty. Maybe some of you who are reading this story are divorced women, single mothers and generally non-virgin girls who have experienced it.When you are not deeply in a true love , you are always feel thirsty. You think something  is missing and that may is  "more sex", you try to have more sex but you get more thirsty. But when you are in love, even the pure presence of your beloved is enough for you!. Never think of love as sex, or you will be deceived.Only when you feel the presence of another, only her pure presence, not anything else, only her presence is enough to make you feel happy; Something starts to bloom in you.Only when you are in true love.be aware ...Love is not lust.Emotions and feelings are not fleeting.Love is not ownership.Love is a deep understanding that the other somehow completes you.Someone makes you a full circle

You very intelligently explained what is what. I have never heard people think like that. and I even agree with you. For me love is about feeling, wanting to be with that person, and everything else is temptation and wanting more

I am truly sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing such a personal story — it is full of pain, but also light. You are right: in difficult times, true support is shown, and it is good to have someone nearby who came without hesitation. And the situation at the bakery is a true sign: when you give warmth and kindness, the world sometimes responds in kind. Your post is a reminder that kindness really does come back, even on the darkest days. Hang in there. And be gentle with yourself.

Very insightful explanation of the difference between love and lust. I love how you emphasize that true love is about caring for the other, not using them.

How do you think you can learn to distinguish between a true feeling of love and a simple physical desire?

Finally I read the description of love and lust difference from a man. I agree with you in every word. I wish much more men knew that
