Traveling is a great way to see places and difference in cultures and how others react to difference in people.&nbsp;

One day I hope to find my soul mate and travel together.&nbsp;

A few years ago, me and two freinds took a vacation trip to Kiev. During a lunch in a small Cafe, we came in contact with two beautiful ukrainian girls. Both of them were about about 26/27 years old.

.Both were very cute, redhead and a brunette. We tried to have conversation with them. We started talking with both of them but only one of them spoke english, so the redhead had to translate. We asked about were the good nightclubs were, and they agreed to meet us later and show us the nightlife of Kiev. We agreed to meet outside our hotel in the evening. The girls came to our hotel and we took a taxi to one of the nightclubs. There we had drinks together, we danced and had a great time together. While the guys were getting a bit drunk, I tried talking a little bit with the girls. I tried to say: "Privjet". Both of them smiled back at me. I bet they didn't think I knew any ukrainian words, or I might also said it wrong :) Then I tried asking for their name. I pointed at me and said my name. Then I pointed at them and the girl who knew no english at all actually understood the signal and said her name was Karina. The redhead said her name was Katya. As we communicated a little bit, where Katya had to translate, Karina took my hand and brought me along to the bar. There she ordered a drink and wanted me to have one also. While we stood there I looked at Karina and pointed at Katya thinking she also wanted a drink, but Karina said something in ukrainian to her and she sat down. We danced a little. As we were about to leave the club,I saw Katya by herself. I think she felt left out alone, since the guys were always dancing and drinking, while Karina dragged me around the dance floor.I felt bad for her, but as I were about to ask her, Karina took my hand and guided us to a taxi. In the taxi, we exchanged telephone numbers. Karina was also a little drunk, so she sat on my lap the whole time, and had her hand in my pants. When we got back to the hotel we were about to say good night to the girls. the guys and i thanked them for a lovely night and we hugged. In the late evening we took a taxi back to the hotel.During the taxi trip I got to talk a lot more to Katya and she told me alot of her life, goals and more. i was impressed and asked why she and Karina were friends even if they were very different.She said that they had been friends for 20 years and had known eachother since the start of school. Everyone seemed to like the one that is outgoing, hanging around all people, talking to everyone etc etc.No one really talks to the quiet once, the friend who is always in the background while the girlfriend want to "steal the show" everytime. I tried to tell her that she was as beautiful as her friend maybe even more,because it's the way you treat those around you, kindness and more than also counts....It just takes someone to see it....at that moment I felt bad for being in the changing booth with Karina, even if it was an experience like no other, because i now saw Katya in a different light, when she told me more about herself. Just after we reached my hotel. Karina gave me a kiss, but then walked a few metres away. Katya gave me a hug, a kiss on thecheek and said in my ear: "thank you for listening". Ok, I took a shower, went down to the lobby, asked for directions to the cafe in the lobby. A very helpful woman behind the lobby showed me where to go. After 15 minutes I got to the Cafe, but I saw nothing of Karina. I ordered some coffee and waited for 5 minutes before I saw her and Katya came along the river, to the cafe. As I was about to hug them both Karina told Katya something in Ukrainian, and then she gave me a kiss on the cheek. Katya told me that she had to go visit her mother in Kharkiv and that Aktya could show me around in Kiev that day. I was a little bit shocked. Without any notice she was leaving? After she had left, Katya then told me. She felt sorry for me and told me her friend was a scammer. She just wanted guys to buy her things. She had done this to other foreigners and I was not the first. She didn't like what her friend did to other, but couldn't tell many of them because Karina was always around. I got depressed and felt myself being used. At the same time Katya took my hand and said: What if you and I do something together, maybe get your mind off her. That day we went to an aquarium,walked along the river,eating ice cream,and just enjoyed ourselves. Katya got my mind off Karina. In the evening we walked back to my hotel. I see and read the differences between woman in Ukraine and women in different parts of the world, verses women in America. Many women in different parts of the world, like Ukraine. wants a man who is kind and gentle to her. She is not concerned of his looks or age difference. But the question is, why does a woman in America only goes for the looks? She should allow any man who approaches her, she should allow him to introduce himself and to get to him before making a decision solely based upon his looks. A man who doesn't have looks makes it up in his character. And the most important characteristic is he would be loyal to her and would not cheat on her.&nbsp; I don't feel any pity or remorse that a beautiful woman got dumped or she got cheated on by the so-called hunk. All men regardless of his looks or age, deserves to have a beautiful woman that he can love and spend time with.&nbsp; She must give him the opportunity to prove his loyalty to her.&nbsp;

Unfortunately, in today's modern world, this continues to happen every day and will continue until something changes in how men and women will get to know to each, not solely based upon looks only.&nbsp;
